What a dream, right?! Working for Disney — Unbelievable. I have been creating GIFs and other content for the world-class brand for a several months and I can honestly say it's been a blast. By placing XD characters in real world environments, creating relatable content for the audience or simply making a silly gag that a tween or their parent can laugh at is the name of the game. My team believes that if we make it fun and we make it fast then we'll make a connection. In my time on this team we did indeed notice a connection with our audience. The conversation shifted from being about the properties themselves to being about the content itself. Our audience was no longer complaining about how long they'd have to wait for a new episode of Gravity Falls. Now, they are cracking jokes or sharing our content. Our intent was to supplement the creativity of the Disney brand instead of simply talking about it.
